近日微软官方宣布，旗下历史悠久的 Internet Explorer 浏览器即将于 6 月 15 日停止服务，正式和全球用户说再见，在此之后则会由 Edge 浏览器完全取代。但尽管 Internet Explorer 停止服务，微软的 Edge 浏览器依然会提供 IE 模式，可让老用户们用于访问一些较为老式的网站页面。
此外，微软也会陆续的向 Windows 10 的用户引导停用 IE 浏览器，最终会透过更新来直接禁止使用，目前全新的 Windows 11 系统已经禁用此浏览器，用户只能选择使用 Edge 或是 Google Chrome 以及其他浏览器。顺带一提，微软的 Edge 浏览器在不久前成功达到了 10% 的桌面市场份额，已经是全球排名第二的浏览器，仅次于 Google Chrome，而且其功能、性能表现日益强大，让不少用户都纷纷开始转头重新接受它！
