Derived from the iconic work Fate/stay night by TYPE-MOON, the spin-off manga series Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya features the character Illya and reimagines her as a magical girl. After its first adaptation into an anime in 2013, the series quickly gained popularity among fans, but it then entered a period of silence following the release of a theatrical film in 2017.
However, during the recent "Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA ILLYA Anime 10th Anniversary event ~starlog" event, an anime sequel for the series was announced with a concept visual. Details about the upcoming anime has not been disclosed yet.
