During today's Nintendo Direct livestream, official details about Square Enix's role-playing game series SaGa‘s latest installment, SaGa Emerald Beyond, were revealed. A trailer was also released, announcing the game's planned release for 2024 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android.
SaGa Emerald Beyond features a turn-based battle system where players can choose from various playable characters, including puppeteers, witches, songstress mechs, a criminal duo, or an immortal vampire. After selecting a character, players will explore their stories in 17 interconnected worlds. The choices players make will impact the development of the storyline. According to official information, this may be the SaGa series' game with the most branching paths to date.
