Alien: Blackout to be delisted from App Store and Google Play Store starting October 31
D3 Publisher has declared that the mobile game Alien: Blackout, co-developed by FoxNext Games and Rival Games, will be taken down from the App Store and Google Play platforms beginning on October 31, 2023. In order to allow players to experience the full adventure, the game will remain available on both platforms for an additional 30 days until October 31. Beyond that date, the developers will halt all development and support efforts.
Alien: Blackout originally launched on both platforms in 2019. The story revolves around Amanda Ripley, the daughter of Ellen Ripley, who leads an investigative team on a mission to infiltrate the Nostromo, a spacecraft drifting in space. Her goal is to guide four survivors safely through the pursuit of the Xenomorphs, using limited power and ventilation ducts to reach the safe zone on the space station.
