The mysterious new game teased by Compile Heart, the production company behind the Hyperdimension Neptunia series, was officially unveiled in Famitsu. The complete new game, Hyperdimension Neptunia GameMaker R: Evolution, featuring the adult Neptune as the main character, is scheduled to be released on August 10 for Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 / Nintendo Switch.

Hyperdimension Neptunia GameMaker R: Evolution is set in a time when game makers are at war with each other. Three goddesses of game makers failed in their attempt to win the market share of game sales and disappeared, labeled as "failures". However, an unexpected arrival of adult Neptune, a girl who has traveled through many dimensional worlds, changes everything. The three goddesses request her help in reviving their dying game maker by becoming its president.
