The story of Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu follows a gloomy and eccentric protagonist named Kyotaro Ichikawa who can't stand the sight of the beautiful and sunny high school girl, Anna Yamada. He constantly fantasizes about putting an end to her life. One day, Kyotaro catches Anna hiding in his beloved library, secretly snacking on food. The library would gradually become their secret hideout, which sets the stage for the romantic comedy between them.
