由 Red Barrels 所研发推出的著名恐怖游戏《Outlast》系列时隔多年，终于计划推出名为《Outlast Trials》的衍生新作，并在 10 月 28 日至 11 月 1 日期间展开了限时封测活动，取得资格的玩家就有机会抢先试玩（没被抽到，哭哭）。近日，外媒都陆陆续续公开了的实机试玩影片，可看到角色创建、过场动画以及紧张的“你追我躲”执行任务的画面等等。
根据官方介绍所述，本作《Outlast Trials》设定在冷战时期的鼎盛时期，玩家将会扮演被 Murkoff Corporation 绑架的测试对象，关押在一个秘密的 Murkoff 设施，并且面临一系列的精神和身心折磨，玩家可以单人或与好友合作试图存活下去以及保持理智不被摧毁，预计将在 2022 年内登陆 PC Steam 平台发售。
