Lightspeed L.A., a subsidiary of Tencent, recently announced a new AAA open-world title called Last Sentinel at TGA2023. The game is developed under the leadership of Steve C. Martin, a former developer behind GTA V. The studio has released the first trailer for the game, but specific details regarding platforms and the release date are yet to be confirmed.

Last Sentinel puts the spotlight on protagonist Hiromi Shoda and takes place in a futuristic world centered in what remains of Tokyo, Japan. Featuring an utterly unique environment, cast, narrative, and gameplay experience, Last Sentinel is soaked in the written, graphic, and theatrical history of dystopian science fiction.
