Sons of the Forest, which was released a few days ago, sold over 2 million copies in the first 24 hours right after its launch in Early Access, as announced on Endnight Games' official Twitter.

According to STEAMDB, this sequel to the 2014 game The Forest has entered the top 20 list of Steam games with the highest all-time peak users. It has also reached the 5th position in the last 24-hour peak rankings, surpassing popular games like Hogwarts Legacy and Warzone 2.0.

The game is expected to remain in Early Access for 6 to 8 months, with the possibility of changes based on the developers' evaluation of its development progress.

Sons of the Forest is an open-world survival horror simulator. Sent to find a missing billionaire on a remote island, players will find themselves on a land overrun by cannibals. Alone or with friends, players will have to craft, build, and struggle to survive on the island.
