Developed by Mundfish, the upcoming action RPG Atomic Heart has released a new live-action trailer featuring Jensen Ackles.

In the beginning of the trailer, a girl was seen practicing magic against a robot, seemingly preparing for a "robot apocalypse". Then, Jensen Ackles arrived with a gigantic melee weapon and defeated the robots with ease. The whole scene seems like a reference to, ahem, a certain game that was released few days earlier (iykyk).

Atomic Heart is set in an alternative world where Polymer, an super-substance able to power future technologies, is invented in the USSR. The economical growth brought by the breakthrough has allowed the country to quickly recover from World War 2 and become a leading global power. Players will assume the role of KGB agent Sergey Nechaev, who was sent on a mission to investigate the mystery behind the rampage of the robots in Facility No. 3826.
