日本游戏制作公司 Inti Creates 近日在线上举办的活动「BitSummit The 8th BIT」中正式公布《苍蓝雷霆钢佛特》系列最新续作《苍蓝雷霆钢佛特 锁环》的消息，并释出游戏宣传影片让玩家观赏，同时表示本作预定在 2022 年夏季推出，登陆 Nintendo Switch 平台。
《苍蓝雷霆钢佛特》系列是曾开发过《Mega Man Zero》系列开发商 Inti Creates 推出的 2D 横向卷轴动作游戏，玩家将在游戏中扮演着拥有电击异能的主角钢佛特，对抗以高压手段操控超能者统治世界的皇神集团。而最新续作《苍蓝雷霆钢佛特 锁环》则由过去负责《Mega Man》系列的稻船敬二担任动作监督。
