目前关于本作的大型扩张内容《Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak》的详细情报会在今年 9 月份公布， 在《Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak》中，玩家将前往一个新的国度，并解锁新的据点「艾尔卡多」，该扩张内容封面魔物是名为「爵银龙」的新古龙种，以此同时还会有来自《Monster Hunter 2》的旧魔物「将军蟹」登场，至于更多就得等官方公布了。
