The anime adaptation of the Japanese manga series Record of Ragnarok, written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and illustrated by Ajichika, aired its first ten episodes of the second season earlier this year. Recently, Netflix announced that the second half of the second season (episodes 11 to 15) will be released on July 12 and unveiled the key visual featuring the battle between Shaka and Zerofuku.
In Record of Ragnarok, the Gods' Council decides to exterminate the entirety of humanity due to their continuous destruction of the natural environment. However, the Valkyries step forward to oppose this decision with a proposal: select 13 human champions and 13 divine representatives of the Gods for a series of one-on-one battles. If humanity best the Gods in seven out of thirteen matches, they will be spared.
