The new 2D turn-based RPG game Sea of Stars, developed by Sabotage Studios (known for The Messenger), has recently been confirmed to have completed development. The game is set to release on August 29 and will be available on Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series / Nintendo Switch / Steam. Additionally, it will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass lineup upon release.
Sea of Stars is set against the same backdrop as The Messenger, modernizing classic turn-based combat RPGs with an epic storyline, world exploration, and detailed environmental interactions, taking players on a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Players will assume the roles of two Children of the Solstice, wielding the power of the Sun and the Moon which could be combined into Eclipse Magic, and battle against the evil alchemist known as the Fleshmancer and his monstrous creations.
