Electronic Arts (EA) recently released their business performance for the current fiscal year. It was reported that some of their game titles such as FIFA 23, Apex Legends, and The Sims are still performing well, but the company is focusing more on polishing their investment portfolio and is abandoning projects that do not contribute to their strategy.

In addition, EA will begin a team restructuring, which means that approximately 6% of employees (about 775 people) are at risk of losing their jobs. However, EA officials stated that the entire process would be carried out with the utmost care and respect, with some employees being transferred to other projects and those who cannot be relocated being offered "severance pay and additional benefits such as healthcare and career transition services".
