The popular otome game Hana Awase New Moon, which combines visual novel elements with Hanafuda, is scheduled to be released globally for Switch on October 26, 2023. The game, consisting of four volumes, supports English gameplay.
The original Hana Awase game was created as a PC game to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the otome magazine B's-LOG. Yura, the prominent illustrator in the world of otome content, along with Project Tsuki ni Murakumo and Hana ni Kaze, present to us a captivating tale of forbidden love in that intertwines "flowers" and "water" while incorporating the essence of hanafuda.
New Features in the Nintendo Switch version
- Includes a new, original short story.
- Supports multiple languages, including Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese (Voice-overs are only available in Japanese).
- The hanafuda battle system has been enhanced and redesigned, combining elements from all four games to make it even more user-friendly.
- The narrative from the Karakuri drama CD series, comprising all four volumes, has been adapted into a novel mode along with an original story.
