NETFLIX 在今日举办的 TUDUM Japan 活动上，正式公布科幻动画《月出之战》的前导宣传预告片让粉丝观赏，并表示动画计划将在 2024 年于 NETFLIX 平台上独家播出，而且制作团队阵容也相当豪华。本作故事剧情出自小说家兼编剧冲方丁之手，他曾负责过《PSYCHO-PASS》、《苍穹之战神》等作品，角色原案则由《钢之炼金术师》作者荒川弘担任，动画制作由 WIT Studio 负责。
