由内藤泰弘所创作的日本漫画作品《枪神 TRIGUN》于今日正式宣布，本作将推出新作动画《枪神 TRIGUN STAMPEDE》的消息，并表示新作动画预定将在 2023 年内放送开始，至于动画制作方面则是交给过去曾制作许多 CG 动画作品的 Orange 负责，同时官方还表示他们会在 2022 年 7 月举办的「ANIME EXPO 2022」活动中曝光更多相关情报。
《枪神 TRIGUN》故事简介在一次追捕“毁灭了一个城镇”的法修的过程里，梅丽鲁和米丽初次与法修见面，但他们因为不清楚法修的外貌，在误会下结果还被猎人捉来威胁法修，但法修很顺利的救出人质也修理了那帮猎人。由于梅丽鲁不相信那样的人会是传说中的通缉犯（反常规），因而放弃该目标。但在后来的事件里不得不相信那就是法修的为人，于是他们一同上路了。
