《Tales from the Borderlands》系列原版作品由 Telltale Games 负责制作，是款类似于《The Walking Dead》的叙事型互动冒险游戏，而新作《New Tales from the Borderlands》则会转由 Gearbox 自主研发，并为玩家们带来来全新的故事、全新的角色以及全新的冒险之旅，完全以《Borderlands》世界观为背景舞台。
