《Under the Waves》是一款叙事为主的冒险游戏，内容是关于悲伤将人吞没的力量。本作故事背景设定在北海深处 1970 年代的科技未来主义时期，专业的潜水员史坦奋力克服改变人生的伤痛，并拥抱新的未来。遗世独立的深海正好能表现他内心的状态，并且随着史坦更加深陷强加于自身的孤独，他开始在海下深处遭遇奇怪的事件。他最后必须做出艰难的选择…永远迷失在海延伸处，或者挣脱到海洋表面并继续接下来的人生。
