During today's "Xbox Developer Direct 2024" event, Square Enix unveiled a gameplay reveal video for the latest installment in the Mana series, Visions of Mana, providing players with an in-depth look at the game's development process and showcasing some actual gameplay. The game is scheduled for release in the summer of 2024 and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
According to official introduction,
A brand-new entry in the beloved Mana series, Visions of Mana is the first mainline instalment in more than 15 years. Visions of Mana will return to the series action RPG roots and take players on a new adventure with protagonist Val, a soul guard assigned to protect his childhood friend, who has been chosen by the Faerie as the Alm of Fire to travel to the Tree of Mana and rejuvenate the mana flow.
