Some keen observers have pointed out the striking resemblance between Hideo Kojima walking out from the doorway during the event and the iconic door from P.T.

Furthermore, in the trailer when actor Udo Kier was speaking to the camera, a subtle sequence of letters—A, T, A, M, I—emerge at various timestamps: 0:40, 0:43, 0:45, 0:47, 0:53. These letters spell "Atami" in Japanese, denoting a city in the eastern part of Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. The kanji "Shizu" signifies "quiet" and "calm," and "Oka" means hill. Consequently, viewers speculate that Kojima making a reference to Silent Hill in the trailer.
