日前就有许多传闻恐怖游戏《Abandoned》就是《Silent Hill》新作或者小岛秀夫的全新恐怖作品，因为开发这部作品的 Blue Box Game 属于比较新的工作室，大家莫名其妙的就猜测这款作品打算沿用类似当年《P.T》的方式，随便放个工作室名称和游戏代号，之后突然就发表。
随着传闻不断的延伸，越来越多人都信以为真，Blue Box Game 工作室日前不得不在推特上澄清，但依然还是不被部分玩家相信。在昨日，这家工作室的制作人 Hasan Kahraman 亲自对着镜头录制一段简短的讯息，证明他是真正存在的人，不是演员、不是小岛秀夫，再度澄清不是制作《Silent Hill》等相关作品。《Abandoned》这个标题就是实实在在的全新恐怖游戏，并且预计会在 6 月 25 日公开新预告片。
