在上个月，外媒曾报道指出，《Grand Theft Auto》发行商 Take-Two 与 Rockstar 有很大的机率会在今年内释出《Grand Theft Auto》三部经典作品重制版的消息，分别是《Grand Theft Auto III》、《Grand Theft Auto Vice City》、《Grand Theft Auto San Andreas》。
而在近日，有外媒发现《Grand Theft Auto:The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition》已经通过韩国评级（目前相关页面已下架），应验了前阵子的传闻消息，相信再过不久官方就会正式发表。另外，《Grand Theft Auto III》即将在 10 月 22 日迎来 20 周年纪念，说不定 Rockstar Games 会在届时公布相关消息，也有传闻三部曲预计会在今年 10 / 11 月内发售。
