《苍翼默示录：黑暗战争》是 2D 格斗游戏《苍翼默示录》系列所衍生的正统续作，玩家可以在游戏中体验《苍翼默示录》系列的原点「暗黑大战」的故事内容，剧情方面也是由制作人「森利道」完全监修。会选择停止运营是因为开发商经过多次商量，得出的结论是难以保证今后游戏的品质，所以才做下该决定。
