开发商 Deep Silver 今日宣布旗下《Saints Row》重启作将从原定的 2022 年 2 月 25 日延期至 2022 年 8 月 23 日发售，登陆 Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series / PC 平台。官方表示他们将创作迄今为止最好的《Saints Row》提供给玩家，但是预期的时间达不到他们想要的标准，也达不到玩家想要的，所以团队需要更多时间进行微调，提高整体游戏质量。
重启作《Saints Row》背景设定于美国西南部名为 Santo Ileso 的虚构城市，在这里的世界充斥着各种犯罪，而玩家将扮演未来的老大，在妮娜、凯文、伊莱诸位伙伴的协助下成立「圣徒」帮派，展开一系列的犯罪冒险，白手起家打造出自己的犯罪帝国，与各种敌对的势力互相对抗竞争，争夺城市的主导权！游戏中，玩家将会探索到一个非常广阔又狂野的世界，同时体验各种支线、犯罪冒险、重磅任务以及其他有趣的玩法。
