本作与《Rune Factory 4》不同，采用视觉是与《Rune Factory:Tides of Destiny》相似的跟随视角，在游戏中玩家将扮演失去记忆的主角，在充满自然气息的小镇中担任保安组织「SEED」的一员，在闲暇之余能够自由进行钓鱼、耕田、参加小镇举行的活动等。
