在今日凌晨举办的任天堂独立游戏直面会上，经典射击街机游戏《The House of the Dead》宣布推出重制版，由《Panzer Dragoon: Remake》的开发商 Forever Entertainment S.A. 负责重制，预定 2021 年内登陆 Nintendo Switch 平台发售。
本作《The House of the Dead》最初推出于 1997 年，是一款由 SEGA 所研发的第一人称射击游戏，讲述着主角为了拯救同伴，开始踏上了与机器人、丧尸对抗的故事。而预定今年内推出的《The House of the Dead Remake》除了保有基础玩法以外，还会支持双人游玩以及具有多个故事结局，画面和操作方面也会获得提升。
