The indie developer Jukai Studio, established in 2022, recently announced a new psychological horror game called Stray Souls, which was developed using Unreal Engine 5. The game is scheduled for release in fall of this year for Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series / PC (Steam).

According to the official introduction, Stray Souls draws inspiration from classic third-person action-horror games. Players will enter a nightmare world and engage in a series of battles against terrifying creatures, explore the haunted town of Aspen Falls, solve peculiar puzzles, and uncover spine-chilling family secrets and hidden conspiracies and truths. Additionally, leveraging the Meta Human technology of the UE5 engine, the game will feature rich human expressions, creating a highly immersive experience. The game also employs dynamic lighting and weather technology, which makes the environment more lifelike and detailed, bringing an unprecedented horror experience.
