虽然目前任天堂的手游业务有着很明显的下滑状态，但根据外媒 Axios 的报道所述，任天堂知道手游业务创造收入和利润的重要性，但实际上他们对这块业务的基本战略是扩大任天堂旗下 IP 的玩家群体，并且会专注于通过持续更新和改进为当前存在的任天堂手机游戏提供出色的体验，同时也在考虑筹备着新的手游。
