根据 Geoffkeighley 推特上透露的消息得知，不久前宣布延期的新作《Hogwarts Legacy》确定即将在本地时间 8 月 24 日凌晨 2 点举办的 Gamescom Opening Night Live 上公开全新情报。顺带一提，本作预定 2023 年 2 月 10 日发售，登陆 Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series / PC 平台，至于 Switch 版发售日今后公布。
《Hogwarts Legacy》是一款身临其境的开放世界动作 RPG 游戏，故事背景设定于 1800 年代的霍格沃茨，玩家所扮演的角色是一名学生，他掌握着一个古老秘密的钥匙，这个秘密可能会威胁整个巫师世界。而已被霍格沃茨学院录取的他，很快会发现自己并不是普通的学生，且具有感知和掌握远古魔法的能力，只有玩家能够自己决定是否为了所有人的利益保护这个秘密，或是屈服于更多险恶魔法的诱惑！
