即将在 3 月 26 日登陆 Switch 发售的《Monster Hunter》系列新作《Monster Hunter Rise》确定会推出 PC 版本，辻本良三接受外媒采访时透露了这个消息，预计 2022 年初内发售。制作人表示他们收到了许多有关 PC 版的请求，尤其是来自海外的玩家，因此决定开发 PC 版，目标争取在 2022 年初发售，但目前还在开发当中，更多消息将会在适当的时候公布。
本作《Monster Hunter Rise》采用 RE ENGINE 进行开发，游戏玩法方面与历代相似，玩家将扮演猎人讨伐各种魔物，完成各种讨伐任务，收集材料制作防具、武器等等。这次的新作追加了一些前所未有的新系统，例如「翔虫」、「操龙」机制等等，同时也追加了许多新魔物等待玩家挑战，当然也少不了经典的老朋友（魔物）们 ，等着玩家讨伐挑战！
