由于近期 Sony Interactive Entertainment 日本工作室要重组的关系传出许多制作人离职消息，而当中包括 SIE Japan Studio 前制作人兼外部制作部长「山本正美」，他于 2021 年 2 月 28 日从任职已久的 SIE 中离职。
而今日他在自家推特上宣布，目前已经在 3 月 31 日成立了属于自己的游戏公司 EPIGRAsm，该工作室今后也将继续从事游戏相关开发，并给予粉丝所喜爱的游戏作品。
