今日由 Capcom 举办的《Mosnter Hunter》系列线上直播会面中，向玩家公开了《Monster Hunter Stories 2: 破灭之翼》的新情报。官方除了展示全新的宣传影片以外，还公开了本作的「传统仪式」系统。本作预定将在 2021 年 7 月 9 日全球同步发售，登陆 Nintendo Switch 平台。
在游戏中，玩家可以透过原野上随机出现的怪物巢穴深处获得“怪物蛋”，在罕见的稀有巢穴中还能发现“珍稀怪物蛋”或“拥有珍贵基因的蛋”，而这些蛋孵化后将会和玩家们一同进行冒险。至于本次公开的「传统仪式」系统中则是让伴随玩家的随行兽「羁绊基因」继承至新的随行兽中，使其觉醒新的技能与能力。此外，本作还将与《Monster Hunter Rise》进行联动合作，推出“神火村接待员服装”以及“随从服装”。
