日本漫画家 Clamp 所着的代表性漫画作品之一《东京巴比伦》改编动画《东京巴比伦 2021》宣布，由于日前负责动画制作公司 GoHands 因涉及服装抄袭的行为，内部重新审视整个企划。经过制作委员会的讨论后，基于对于制作公司的信任度问题，判断动画制作将无法继续进行而宣布中止。
《东京巴比伦 2021》改编动画原先预定在 2021 年 4 月放送的作品，至于未来新作动画的方向将基于 Clamp 与制作委员会的协议，以全新体制再度出发。他们也希望有朝一日能在全新的体制下尽早的将《东京巴比伦》动画呈现给热爱作品的粉丝。
