Nine Sols, an upcoming game by Red Candle Games, the creators of Detention and Devotion, was initially revealed at the end of 2021. It later successfully raised 12 million Taiwanese dollars and has been in development since then.

Recently, the development team posted on social media that they received a lot of feedback and comments during multiple testing phases and found that the game's future planning was still inadequate. After evaluation, they realized that the remaining time was not enough to deliver the complete experience envisioned by Red Candle Games. Therefore, the team has decided to postpone the release.

The updated release date is expected to be around Q4 2023, and in order to avoid leaks of game settings, worldviews, and plot information, all feedback rewards and content promised during fundraising will be delayed as well. In addition, Red Candle Games plans to release a third beta version in near future, which will include a lot of new content. More details on future plans will be revealed at a later date.
