Epic Games Publishing and developer Remedy Entertainment have released an 11-minute gameplay footage for their upcoming action thriller game, Alan Wake 2. The video showcases early missions and content featuring the game's second protagonist, FBI Agent Saga Anderson, as well as a series of combat scenes, puzzles, and investigation gameplay. The game is scheduled to be released on October 27, 2023, and will be available on PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series / Epic Games Store.

In Alan Wake 2, a string of ritualistic murders threatens Bright Falls, a small-town community surrounded by Pacific Northwest wilderness. Saga Anderson, an accomplished FBI agent, arrives to investigate. Meanwhile, Alan Wake, a lost writer trapped in a nightmare beyond our world, writes a dark story in an attempt to shape the reality around him and escape his prison. Anderson and Wake are two heroes on two desperate journeys in two separate realities, connected at heart in ways neither of them can understand.
