在今年初时，《轩辕剑》之父蔡魔头就曾透露 1999 年推出的《轩辕剑》系列第三部作品《轩辕剑叁 云和山的彼端》正在研发着任天堂 Switch 版本。而时隔三个月后，大宇资讯正式宣布计划于 2023 年内登陆 PC Steam & Switch 平台，并且已开放 Steam 页面。
本作《轩辕剑叁 云和山的彼端》是款相当经典的 RPG 作品，故事背景设定在唐安史之乱前后，主角名为赛特，是法兰克王国的骑士，为寻求战争不败之法开始从威尼斯踏上冒险之旅，横贯欧亚大陆，寻找远在云和山的彼端王国。
