At the Game Developers Conference 2023, publisher Netmarble and developer Netmarble F&C have revealed the gameplay footage of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, which was announced back in January 2022. The open-world action game is based on the well-known manga and anime, which is set to be released for PC, consoles, and smartphones. The release date is yet to be announced.

The Seven Deadly Sins were a group of knights in Britannia who were falsely accused of planning a coup against the Liones Kingdom and disbanded a decade ago. The Holy Knights, who took power after the rebellion they organized, captured and imprisoned them. Princess Elizabeth Liones seeks out the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins, Meliodas, to clear their names and overthrow the Holy Knights. Manipulated by a demon named Fraudrin, the Holy Knights were later found out that they had been tricked into freeing the Demon Race from their prison.
