The JRPG game The Caligula Effect: Overdose, developed by FURYU and published by NIS America, was released on multiple gaming platforms several years ago, including PS4, Switch, and PC.

Recently, official announcement was made that both digital downloads and physical copies version of the game, is planned to be released in 2023.

The Caligula Effect: Overdose is set in a virtual world called Mobius, where people don't have to endure the troubles and pains of the real world. However, one day, the main characters discovered that they were actually in a virtual world and formed the Go-Home Club in an attempt to leave Mobius. In the game, players will control the Go-Home Club members and engage in turn-based battles in order to escape the virtual world and return to reality.
