近日前 Eidos-Montréal 负责人 Stephane D'Astous 接受了来自外媒 Gamesindustry 的采访，其中除了谈到此前 Eidos-Montréal 的事情以外，还提及听闻索尼曾经有意想要收购 Square Enix，但只对 Square Enix Tokyo 部门感兴趣，其余一律无意愿。当然了，这一切都是听闻和传闻，准确消息还是有待今后发展公布。
在这些年来，各大游戏集团都大手笔收购游戏工作室，那天索尼宣布收购 Square Enix 确实也不是不可能，毕竟微软都能买下暴雪。目前 Crystal Dynamics、Eidos-Montréal 以及 SE Montreal 都成为 Embracer Group 旗下工作室，可期待未来的表现。
