近些年来，各大游戏厂商都纷纷投资收购其他游戏工作室，例如腾讯、网易，而近日拳头游戏 Riot Games 也宣布将收购《World of Tanks》开发商 Wargaming 悉尼工作室，并将其改名为拳头游戏悉尼工作室（Riot Sydney）。收购之后，Riot Sydney 主要将负责协助《League of Legends》、《Valorant》以及 Riot Games 的技术团队。
该工作室是澳大利亚最大的开发工作室之一，此前参与过《World of Warships》、《World of Tanks》以及其他产品研发，例如 PC & 主机游戏。不仅如此，其团队在更早些实际上名为 Bigworld，并为多款 MMO 游戏提供支持，甚至还在 2011 年获得「同一时间及 MMO 服务器中最多线上玩家」的吉尼斯世界纪录。紧接着在 2012 年凭借 Bigworld 的技术被 Wargaming 收购。接下来工作室的所有开发人员也都会加入 Riot Sydney，而现有发行团队都则留在 Wargaming 团队。
