EA 于今日正式宣布旗下滑板模拟游戏《Skate》系列第四部作品正式定名为《Skate.》，并表示本作会是一款免费游玩游戏，目前 PC 平台正在进行招募测试活动，有兴趣的可以申请看看。官方表示，为了打消玩家玩家的顾虑，他们将以免费游戏推出，游戏内不会出现付费游戏机制以及付费地图区域等，当然也不包括付费开箱内容，主要的付费内容都是一些装饰品等。
至于游戏的相关发售日目前官方还未发表，仅表示会登陆 Playstation 系列主机、Xbox 系列主机，以及 PC 平台，是否会登陆次世代这点尚未确定，得等官方后续更进一步情报发表才能知晓。附带一提，本作还将支援跨平台链接和存档转移。
