Square Enix's open-world action RPG game Forspoken has confirmed the release of its first story DLC, Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust, which is set to launch on May 26 for Playstation 5 and PC. It's worth noting that players will need to purchase the DLC separately from the main game, while those who have already purchased the Digital Deluxe edition can enjoy earlier access of the DLC from May 23.

Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust is a prequel story to the main game, set 25 years prior to the events of Forspoken. While searching for a way to eradicate The Break, Frey is guided by a mysterious voice and discovers the truth behind the Purge of the Rheddig, the event that desolated the lands of Athia and drove the Tantas to madness. With new magic abilities, Frey teams up with the sorceress Tanta Cinta to unravel the mystery and embark on a journey to save Athia and redeem herself.
