During today's Xbox Games Showcase 2023 livestream, Microsoft announced a new DLC for their action-adventure game Sea of Thieves called The Legend of Monkey Island. This DLC will be released for free and is scheduled to launch in monthly installments, starting from July 20, 2023. Players who own the base game or have subscribed to the Xbox Game Pass will automatically gain access to this content.
According to official introduction, this upcoming DLC will be divided into three chapters, each containing their own secrets and side quests, offering players a new narrative experience. On the Monkey Island, players will have the opportunity to explore its beauty, ambiance, and grandeur while attempting to unravel its mysteries. You can choose to embark on this journey alone or team up with fellow crew members to explore and adventure together.
