Today, Nintendo released a trailer for the fourth paid DLC content Future Redeemed for Xenoblade Chronicles 3. The DLC mainly tells the story that takes place before the main plot of the game, and is scheduled to be released for Nintendo Switch on April 26, 2023.
In Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed, players will not only experience a new story, but also see the return of previous protagonists: Shulk and Rex. The story revolves around the continuous conflict between two hostile nations, Keves and Agnus. Soldiers from both sides, Nikol of Keves and Glimmer of Agnus, confront each other on a battlefield. In the midst of their life-and-death struggle, a young man suddenly intervenes, claiming that he knows their "true enemy". The mediator is a young man named Matthew from The City, who declares that Moebius is their true enemy. Those who discover the truth about the world vow to fight against the fateful destiny.
In addition, the Pyra/Mythra amiibo set will be released on July 21, 2023. Each amiibo unlocks a unique Aegis Sword weapon skin that characters using the Swordfighter class can wield in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
