AQUAPLUS 在日前举办的「传颂之物」系列特别直播节目 2022 活动中，正式发表了旗下冒险策略模拟人气 RPG 游戏《传颂之物》系列外传新作《义贼侦探鵟》的消息，并表示本作预定将在 2022 年 12 月 22 日发售，登陆 Playstation 4 / Nintendo Switch 平台，同时本作也是 AQUAPLUS 第二部同步于 Nintendo Switch 平台推出的作品。
《义贼侦探鵟》与前作《多卡波UP 梦幻轮盘》不同的是，本作将是首款自身 IP 所打造的外传游戏，至于系列中所登场的角色，例如哈克、鵟、右近、久远、猫音、鸟露露等人都会在本作中登场。本作故事介绍，因微不足道的契机所发生的事件。“哈克”在伟大的大和国过着忙碌的生活，原以为和平的时光能永远持续下去，但与他一同旅行可靠的伙伴中，闻到了不寻常的事件正在发生。她利用自身的智慧和敏锐的眼光，大胆而微妙的推理和判断，具有真正“名侦探”的“好女人”讲述了她的故事。
