During today's Summer Game Fest 2023, developer Grinding Gear Games unveiled a brand new teaser for Path of Exile 2. Further details about the game will be officially revealed on July 28.

Path of Exile 2 is an extension of the concepts and mechanisms introduced in the previous game, with significant modifications and the introduction of fresh new content. Many mechanics in the game have been redesigned, including changes to the starting classes, revamped visual effects, and the implementation of a brand-new engine. The sequel also introduces seven new main story chapters that take place 20 years after the events of the original game, along with 19 new Ascendancy classes. Furthermore, players will be able to carry over items from the previous game, enabling them to embark on new adventures with familiar loadouts.
