发行商 505 Games 前阵子就宣布 PC 版《Death Stranding Director’s Cut》预计会在今年春季发售，而近日公布了准确日期，预定于 3 月 30 日正式发售，售价为 39.99 美元。至于原本已经购买标准版《Death Stranding》的玩家，若想要升级至 Director's Cut 导演剪辑版只需花费 9.99 美元。顺带一提，现在 STEAM 商店正在举办农历新年特卖会，标准版《Death Stranding》折扣 70% 只需 71.70 令吉便可入手，截止于 2 月 4 日。
根据官方先前介绍透露，本次的 PC 版将首次采用 INtel 全新 XeSS 图形技术，来增强玩家的游戏体验，同时在性能方面也会支援高画质、高帧率、超宽屏幕游玩等等。另外，本作《Death Stranding Director’s Cut》除了拥有本篇内容以外，还追加了大量全新游戏内容，包括全新故事剧情任务、新装备武器、新载具、新区域、新建筑、新敌人、新机器人、战斗系统更新、赛道竞速模式以及更多线上元素等等。
