任天堂旗下人气第三人称射击游戏《Splatoon》系列最新续作《Splatoon 3》于近日正式宣布，本作预定将在 2022 年 9 月 9 日发售，登陆 Nintendo Switch 平台，同时官方还释出一段游戏对战演示影片让粉丝观赏，主要是展示游戏「占地模式」的内容，让大家知道该模式如何游玩。附带一提，本作也将是系列首部支援中文字幕。
《Splatoon 3》的背景舞台设定于「尚兴地区」，那里是一片非常炎热又烈日高照的沙漠地带，而在该区域中心地带则是混杂的街道为主，名为「蛮颓镇」，许多喜欢对战的鱿鱼、章鱼都在此齐聚一堂。
